Novenergia in Numbers
With the totality of its 33,2 MW installed in Portugal, the hydro sector of NOVENERGIA Group is responsible for the production of about 6% of all Group's installed capacity, being the most mature technology in the Organisation with more than 30 years of experience, hydro energy was the first renewable technology to be developed within the company.
The Wind Portfolio is the one that most contributes to the NOVENERGIA Group's production and installed capacity. Present in 4 of the 5 countries on the European continent where NOVENERGIA develops its activity, wind energy has a total installed capacity of 508,5 MW, which is responsible for about 80% of the Group's installed capacity and production, thus the technology most relevant in the Group. Portugal is the country with the most installed wind capacity with 435.4 MW.
The NOVENERGIA Group has 34 solar photovoltaic plants distributed across 4 European countries. The total of 93,6 MWp solar photovoltaic, is equivalent to 18% of the Group's total installed capacity. Italy holds the main share of this installed capacity with 41,7 MWp. This is the Group's technology that has had the greatest development and investment in recent years. About 30 MW solar photovoltaic are currently under construction in Portugal to add to the already extensive solar capacity installed in the Group.
